A call to liberalize nanotechnology

In a recent paper (Regulation and Classification of Nanotechnology: A Path to Standardization of Nanotechnology), an engineering and nanosciences researcher points out the urgent need to focus on the liberalization of nanotechnology. Standardization as a method for achieving an accurate catalog and ranking of nanotechnology. It is not new, and there are already valuable books and works dealing with this topic, however, this work attempts to revive and popularize this topic.

Through the urgent need for standardization of nanotechnology, the realization of appropriate liberation of nanotechnology as a science and technology can walk on its own. In the same paper, the researcher seeks to present the techniques and means of classification, and to classify these technical sciences through 6N, which includes: nanometers, nanoscience, nanotechnology, nanovisualization, nanoprocessing, and nanofabrication.

Technical index, arrangement and standardization of nanotechnology through scientific graphs is the best way for the full development of this science to become nanotechnology. “Nanotechnology standardization index and ranking will improve the ability of large, medium and small business and entrepreneurship, management and forecasting of new goods.”

The liberalization of nanotechnology will begin when an organization for this science is initiated, through indications as a technical indicator of nanotechnology and mainly through standardization.

In computing and mechanical engineering, established patterns of work already exist, just as in any common discipline, nanotechnology is no different in need of a pattern. The classification consists of levels, taking into account the scientific and technological complexity of each element based on nanotechnology. Through this classification, it is easier to visualize, define and classify products containing nanotechnology, which indicates a better space for the growth and development of this science.

We understand very well at least that there is a common sector in the whole chain, from beginning to end, of the concept of selling, in a complete way. But, moreover, there was no simpler sector indication. Not a list, but a kind of quick search scheme. Like in gaming monitors, where levels of progress have already been made. This way, with a lot of consulting and readings on the subject, always looking for a model that is less conceptual and more practical. In this way, I developed a prototype, which can be improved by collecting data to ensure degrees of difficulty. Classified in levels granted from the first level to the sixth level, and although the cosmetics sector is allocated with the first level of difficulty, depending on the data included in the algorithm, in addition to the difficulties involved, the complexity of the product, whether it includes a complex composition or only one formulation that depends on some simple single operations. Among the hundreds of variables for complexity classification, the level of product based on nanotechnology is allocated. Follow the pattern in the picture.

That needs small models to pull the industry through catalogs, graphs, ratings, indices, index, scientific charts, indicators or development thermometers. Like a guide with consolidation to give north without plastering, to consolidate without locking. Lack of a comprehensive view of the application and the results, at least of the possible applications. How to qualify a pattern if you don’t already have a pattern. This is the urgent task as a challenge to nanotechnology, and the pursuit of its liberation through standardization, scientific charts, tables, standards, ranking and index of nanotechnology. With these steps, we will finally see liberated nanotechnology as a new science.
